A very simple, yet tasty canapé. If you're struggling to find onion marmelade in Berlin, we sell our own every Saturday at the market in Kollwitzplatz.
Makes 8 canapés.
1 ripe fig
2 slices of parma ham
1 tbsp onion marmelade
Cut each piece of ham into four strips. Slice the top off the fig to expose the red insides and cut into eight wedges.
Lay each strip of ham flat on a chopping board, spread a little onion marmelade on it and top with one fig piece. Roll the ham around the fig and secure with a cocktail stick.
