Page comments Well, Deborah, I am glad to know it's not just me who has encountered this particular ravioli demon. I'm pleased to report, though, that I have successfully made ravioli on many subsequent occasions, without mishap. These days, if I'm not cooking them immediately, I lay them on a clean teatowel which seems to work very well. And I know I sprinkled the plate with flour before laying the ravioli to rest but maybe not enough flour?...because the also got stuck and I had to find some other dish to replace my ravioli plan! Ravioli seem really tricky to make and I have not tried it since that incident...but like you. I just need to finally put that demon to rest! Thanks for the blog post! Tue, 09 Apr 2013 14:25:27 +0200 Deborah Well, I do make my own burgers on occasion. So, just for you, Jim, I will post a cheeseburger recipe at some point in the next few weeks. Tue, 28 Sep 2010 14:33:53 +0200 Caroline I like cheeseburgers. Got any good cheeseburger recipes? Tue, 28 Sep 2010 14:20:06 +0200 Jim I have a vague memory that we may even have served some of the ravioli. My guess is that we might even have made the mistake of not using any flour, but it does seem a little implausible. One of the guests has reminded me of this incident several times over the last decade, so we clearly didn't completely get away with it. I have successfully made pasta quite a few times since then, though, but there was a long period where the memory of this incident put me off it. Sun, 05 Sep 2010 18:21:26 +0200 Toby
